Ready to rock your bathing suit (or a Speedo!?) in December? Yes, it seems kinda nuts. But it’s not as crazy when you’re freezing for a reason. And that’s exactly what the Polar Plunge is all about. You and a few thousand friends strip down to your skivvies before jumping into the chilly Ohio River. It will be a good time for a great cause, supporting the Special Olympics and athletes in Pennsylvania.

 

 HERE’S THE WEEKEND SCHEDULE!

SUPER PLUNGE

Date: Friday, December, 9th 

Time: 9am – 9pm (Super Plungers will plunge every hour on the hour, with a total of 24 jumps)

Location: Stage AE, 400 North Shore Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Spectators are welcome! 

Do you have what it takes to be one of the few, the proud, the brave….A Pittsburgh Super Plunger?! These extreme individuals take on the challenge of raising $2,500 for the honor of plunging every hour, on the hour, for 12 hours, with a total of 24 jumps in freezing cold water!

HAPPY HOUR PLUNGE

Date: Friday, December 9th 

Time: 5pm 

Location: Stage AE, 400 North Shore Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Cost: $1,000 donation to jump, per Happy Hour Plunger 

FRIDAY NIGHT SPLASH

Date: Friday, December 9th 

Time: 6pm – 9pm 

Location: Stage AE, 400 North Shore Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Cost: $50

Dress: Business/Business Casual 

PITTSBURGH POLAR PLUNGE

Date: Saturday, December 10th 

Day of Registration: 9:00am 

Plunge Festival: 9:00am – 2pm

All plunge day activities will take place at Stage AE. Free parking is available in Gold Lot 1 on Saturday.
